Teeth Whitening
What are the best products for teeth whitening? Please recommend some affordable teeth whitening products.
Teeth whitening is achieved by applying a bleaching agent to the teeth. The longer the bleaching agent is applied the better it works. Or at least this is how every teeth whitening system is marketed. But you should be careful before you use the hundreds of teeth whitening kits available on the market as some might contain harmful chemicals that may strip your teeth of enamel leaving it sensitive to hot and cold stuff.
The problem is that you really need to use a teeth whitening system that mimics what you get at a Dentists office but that's more affordable. For example the Teeth whitening toothpastes only contain minimal whitening agents and so it would take an extremely long time to produce any noticeable change as you spend only a few minutes a day brushing your teeth.
Teeth Whitening strips while more effective than toothpaste contain mild oxidization activators within the strip. This is just a little more than in available in a teeth whitening toothpaste so here again the results tend to take longer and not as long lasting.
If you need a cheap teeth whitening option that you can try at home - use baking soda mixed with toothpaste and it gives good results as it removes many of stains. You can also mix baking soda with water and rinse your mouth with it as many times a day as you want.
Another home teeth whitening remedy is using apple cider vinegar.
If your teeth are really stained, then maybe the only option is to go to a dentist, but these other methods will still help to some extent. To prevent the stains from getting worse, avoid things like coffee and smoking.
You really need to find a system that is similar to the ones that dentists use, but in a more affordable solution. These tend to work much more effectively and doesn´t cost you hundreds of dollars like a trip to the dentist would.
