Cosmetic Dental treatments are those dental procedures that are undertaken to improve the aesthetics of a person. Some of the cosmetic procedures do improve the general functionality of the person. If you can convince your dental insurance company that a particular cosmetic dental procedure is essential to lead a normal life then the insurance company might consider it.

Most of the above dental procedures as you can see are aimed at improving and enhancing the looks of the person and are not essential for life hence these cosmetic dental are not covered by dental insurance.
